Icosahedron Symbolic Information
Platonic Solids get their name from the ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician Plato (c427-347 BC) who wrote about them in his treatise, Timaeus. The Greeks taught that these five solids were the core patterns of physical creation. Four of the solids were seen as the archetypal patterns behind the four elements (earth, air, fire, and water), while the fifth was held to be the pattern behind the life force itself, the Greeks’ ether. They are thought to describe and symbolise the five states of “matter”.
Each has equal edges, same distance from the centre and representing the five elements and that derived from Merkaba. The platonic solids are 3-dimensional polygons with a sequential relationship to one another called duals or congruency. This congruence occurs when one polygon with its unique shape, size and facets can be transformed into the next polygon by changing its placement by flipping or rotation.
These shapes and forms that are part of the makeup of all living things also correspond the five elements as a connotation of the five senses. These same shapes are now realised to be intimately related to the arrangements of protons and neutrons in the elements of the periodic table. In other words, they are the building blocks of organic life. These structures found in mineral, animated life form, sound, language etc. They called;  Tetrahedron, Hexahedron, Octahedron, Dodecahedron, Icosahedron.
Fire = Tetrahedron / Earth = Cube / Air = Octahedron /
Water = Icosahedron / Aether = Dodecahedron
This symbol is the combination of Icosahedron within the Fruit of Life. The icosahedron is the fifth and final platonic solid, having 20 triangular sides. It is associated with the element of Water and corresponds to the Sacral Chakra. Water symbolises movement, flow, and change. It allows for freedom of expression, creativity and ‘going with the flow’. Icosahedron will also help to understand emotions as they arise. Since the Sacral Chakra is the centre of emotions, the energy of the Icosahedron can assist in observing the emotions, allowing a clear insight as to why they arise and how to react instead of using patterned responses taught by ego and/or conditioning.
This shape can assist in enhancing the creative thought process. It may assist in unblocking and removing any emotional stressors that have cut off the creative energies and helps about healing to find balance and harmony, especially in the areas of fertility and reproduction.
